Mercatique consulting needed a new website, something fresh to keep up with their current clientele.
I designed a content driven website for Mercatique Consulting, their brief outlined that they would need to have the ability to add content dynamically and independently without the need for a developer or an editor. I chose to use WordPress for this project as that met the client’s needs.
As a UX designer, I was mostly in charge of ensuring that the business objectives set by Mercatique matched the user’s expectations, I was also responsible for the User interface design and subsequently the website as a whole.
Working with Mercatique Consulting was a delight, the client knew exactly what they wanted, how they wanted it and when; this made it easy to contribute to the team in my capacity as a designer and also ensure that value is an integral part of the process.
Impact of the project
The single most important metric here was whether or not the intended users would be able to find and engage the content they were looking for, and we were able to accomplish this with Mercatique as we saw longer page sessions on the google analytics dashboard.
While I was responsible for the User research and design, I was aided by Yasmine from Mercatique she assisted me in getting secondary research insights as well as client liaison
